Fazenda is the Portuguese word for an estate or large farm. We are situated at the foot of the beautiful Langeberg mountains in the historical Hermitage valley. Our prime location to the town of Swellendam makes for a unique and private forest stay yet close enough to all amenities. Fazenda only has 3 luxury mountain cabins suitable for couples offering guests a private and luxurious retreat over looking the breathtaking mountains and dam.
Spend your days hiking in the mountain, mountain biking, foraging mushrooms in the forest, picking organic seasonal vegetables from our pastures for your next meal or just relax on the sun terrace with a glass of wine soaking up the magnificent views!
You might just spot an indigenous bush buck coming to drink water at the dam in front of your cottage!
